Part of our Colorado based Mountains & Plains Fibershed
I am an artist, educator and mother who lives and works in Denver, Colorado.
I made the transition from painting to ceramics six years ago and have found the journey very rewarding. I began by learning to throw on the wheel and have learned slipcasting and mold making.
I am attracted to glazes that transform to painterly impressions and seek combinations that act uniquely in the kiln every firing. I also explore alternative firing techniques such as Raku, Pit, Sagar and Soda Firing.
There are a few of each planter available now. As with other pieces, each planter is individually finished, glazed with plant and food safe glazes and sports a drain hole. Animal sizes vary slightly.
